I don’t know but my accountant’s guess is it is all about cost. Starting with Napster and moving on to digital radio, itunes, spotify etc the music industry is in upheval. I don’t care what music you are talking about it has to make a profit to survive. We must all be working on a very low cost structure right now so only the basic songs can afford to be written.
