Can we use Anzac day as a meet up, patriotic learn some history day? Pick a someones dawn service and go from there.
Personally since I left the army (12years ago) have taken a very selfish stance of “I did my time I’m not going to any more dawn services” I still revere all that was done by soldiers before me, but get turned off when it starts to turn into the worship of simple men being turned into something they were not by parties with an agenda. eg our Military that never admits mistake (the lack of books from military officers I’m told is the give away).
I would have to assume the group has variety of ways we do Anzac day care to share what it is in the thread below?
