We form a Corps of 100 men (maybe call ourselves Centurions) who are not necessarily the inner sanctum but our right wing conservative friends etc. The 100 are lead by 20 Praetorians that meet monthly (that’s what we all are now). Each centurion contributes $250 a year ($5 a week). At the end of 4 year’s we’ll have $100,000. We choose an electorate and get one of us into Federal Parliament via the Australian Conservatives. 100 guys working in a team with $100k (plus whatever Aust Cons and general fundraising can raise) over 6 weeks in one single electorate. We work hard and we get someone in Parliament. Imagine sitting in a electorate HQ after pulling that off with 100 guys and their families having a few beers!

At the end of the first 4 year period we split the Corps into 4 equal portions. Each has an appropriate President and adequate leadership types within their Praetorian group of 5. The goal of each Corps is to get their Corps up to 100 good men and the P Group up to 20 in good time. The cycle then repeats… forever. 100 becomes 400. 400 become 1,600…. you get the idea. Altogether we are a legion. By the time we come to the next election, we might be in a position to get 4 people into federal parliament. Next election 16.

The original 5 Praetorians from each Corps continue to meet up quarterly to maintain the same direction but we recognise that each Corp will work best if it is left to its own devices. Each Corps will know it has a finite life (4 years) and so it won’t form it’s own culture and leave the Legion as 4 years isn’t enough time to migrate too far from the group. No splinter groups.

The role of Praetorians is not simply to meet monthly, but to have lunch/coffee with the Corps members regularly. Meet them, learns their kids names, play golf with them etc. 20 Praetorians across 100 men means each P has to keep a a relationship with 4 men. This should keep the 100 meaningfully engaged. As Praetorians leave the group, they are replaced from the Corps.

The whole legion is active on the Blog/Forum.

The whole time we are doing this, we can do other things too. Local council elections, camping, activism, sporting events.

Men only. We have a culture of hitting the gym and reading classical literature. We support local writers/artists in this area. We turn out to help each other’s ventures. Nothings will stop us.

In time, we go global and let others know of our successful method.

    Thoughts?

This is a really solid idea! I’ll work it into the constitution and keep fleshing it out as we go.

Has anybody come across https://www.prageru.com/ content online? We could do something similar with the blog/website – accept donations to promote the content and spread the word/find new Praetorian/Centurion members as well.

    Nice one.

Definitely like this idea as our primary goal or one of them.
