    11 July 2017

    Gents

    Our group has been meeting for over a year now, and is slowly but surely growing. This pleases me immensely, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know all of you.

    You saw from Michael’s email a few days ago that he’s found a few more people at Cory Bernardi’s events who are interested in coming to our meetups. As the group continues to grow, holding events will become more difficult to organise. Additionally, I believe that we will reach a point where our members may start to ask what the point of all this is. It’s great to talk about current affairs with like-minded people, and its even better to make new friends with trustworthy men, but I believe we’ll come to a stage – if we’re not there already – where a more defined purpose is necessary.

    We have talked about blogging before, or discussed getting involved in politics: while there generally has been some interest in these ideas, so far it’s been mostly talk (except for those who have private blogs. A few of us have written great articles, and Andrew has even been published on Return of Kings). I think we need to do more than just hold lunches and chat. With this in mind, and with Michael’s assistance, I’ve drafted the attached agenda for discussion at our next meetup, in which we will discuss group structure and political direction going forward. The agenda represents talking points only, as a guide to keep the meeting on track. I encourage you all to email me with additional talking points to add to the agenda.

    I intend to hold this meetup on Saturday 5th August. I will book a conference/private room somewhere for, let’s say 3 hours from 11am to 2pm, to get through the agenda. If anyone know’s a good spot let me know – otherwise I’ll probably just find something in the CBD. (Michael suggested getting a weekend booking may be difficult – if this is the case I may have to make the booking for Friday evening on the 4th August. Also let me know availability.

    Perhaps not all of you are interested in taking this sort of direction. This is fine: I fully intend on continuing our informal meetups: networking and building up a brotherhood of allied men. This was the original purpose of the meetups, after all. But still, make sure you come to this meetup and tell us what you think.

    Cheers

    Carl

    Minutes from meeting 5 August 2017

    Gentlemen

    Thanks all for coming today, and for your interest and contributions to our discussions. This is going to be the start of something huge.

    A quick summary of today’s events:

    The groups founding principle is traditional Christian values, which has guided Western Civilization for the past 2000 years, and which we are seeking to restore;
    Group name – undetermined;
    Group trust and anonymity is paramount;
    The group shall be an anonymous club or brotherhood first and foremost, for the mutual benefit of members, with a view to growing in influence to the point of influencing affairs in this country and the West;
    Creating a group constitution or pledge. There didn’t seem to be a huge interest in this, and I think no definite decision was made. But I’m happy to draw up a high level group pledge for the next meeting that we can sign off on, without delving into the specifics of a constitution. *Post-mtg: Maybe a signet ring at some point?
    Secondary goals of the group (after that of looking after the group) will be attempting to discreetly shift public opinion in support of conservative values. Website, trolling to get media attention, Facebook, billboards;
    New potential members must be vetted by three members;
    Continuance of current monthly meetups on the first Saturday of the month;
    Organising group events such as physical activities or camping etc;
    No formal political affiliation.

    Action items:

    Andrew to set up WordPress blog with forum and polling section in time for the next meetup;
    Carl has been voted president for the period (nominal 6 months), Michael has been voted Treasurer;
    All: please send Carl an email if you’re keen on writing articles for the blog. Please advise how frequently you’d be willing to contribute. Carl to send out a schedule for article submissions on this basis;
    Craig: I know I put you on the spot. But for next meetup, we’d like to hear about the recent history of Zimbabwe and SA next meetup;
    Michael: develop a budget;
    Andrew/Michael: Get started on a presentation on TRP/hypergamy;
    Next meetup will be 11am on Saturday 2nd September. Carl to organise;
    All: please let Carl know your interest in camping trip, say in October or November. Let me know dates you are OK with and dates you absolutely cannot do. I’ll see if I can sort out something that we can all make (if possible);
    GoFund me idea. Does someone want to seriously pursue this? Maybe Damo (since you came up with the idea), could find out how much a billboard ad would cost and how to set up a gofundme thing?
    Three new members due along next meeting. We need people in Mullaloo and Rockingham to interview, please advise if you’d be willing to be an interviewer. One of them is Phil’s cousin. So I’d suggest Phil is out as an interviewer due to conflict of interest.

    Minutes: Meetup details for 2 September 2017

    Gents

    Brief action items from Saturday’s meeting as follows:

    Blog essentially set up, ready to receive articles. Carl offered to perform editing/checking function, (Michael also to some extent?). Probably 1 or 2 additional editors will be required as it progresses.
    Forum still to be set up, will be done shortly.
    Recruitment: we need to sort out, as a group, a list of ‘showstoppers’ which would disqualify new members from joining the group. Carl to post question on the forum.
    All members should set up burner email addresses for use on the forum. (NB: Personally, I use tutanota.com as a private email account with no links to my identity. There are other providers also though).
    Group structure/growth discussed, i.e. inner circle (praetorians)/outer circle (centurions). Let’s continue discussion in the forum.
    2-3 interviews to perform in the next couple of weeks
    Activism progress: some things talked about, but I didn’t catch any action items. Damien, your pricing on billboards was noted. We’ll need to set up gofundme if we’re going to seriously pursue this idea.
    Craig to do talk on Zim/SA at next meetup
    Camping idea still to be pursued, some members have indicated interest. Carl to organise. If anyone has location suggestions, would be welcome information.
    Next meetup will be 7 October. Probably the same location, around the same time.

    MINUTES for 7 Oct 2017Gents

    Thanks for all coming today. Fred was going to come but also went the wrong location. Next time I’ll put the location details in bold pink text. ;-p

    Minutes:

    Blog and forums up and running. All members are urged to contribute to the forums;
    Article authors sought. Please don’t hesitate to contribute if you’re willing and able;
    Some kind of organised process needs to be set up:
    draft articles go to forums for initial comment
    schedule for loading articles;
    final editing & publishing
    Group constitution – we’ll take it slow, but we’ll get there. I’ll put some things up on the forum about what we discussed today
    Group growth: key focus for right now is to find 20 core members. Possible recruitment spots:
    The blog
    Milo Yiannopolous coming to Perth 2 December. Tix approx ~$90, if the event is cancelled there’s no refunds https://www.milolive.com.au/
    AC meetings – meeting at 5pm Sunday tomorrow @ Bentley hotel, if you want to come contact Michael or myself first as I *think* they need to have your name down first.
    conservative/Christian groups at uni – this one we’ll have to figure out an attack plan on the forums. I certainly don’t expect Gaston to get involved as this might be a career risk (for Murdoch at least anyway)
    We forgot to talk about social media. This isn’t my forte, perhaps we can discuss on the forum
    No upcoming interviews
    Fishing day planned on Saturday 28 October. I’ll organise. I’ll set up a post on the forums, please confirm attendance on the forum
    Next meeting on 4 November. Paul to present a topic on energy production.

    No formal agenda set this time.
    We had a new member, Tim join us for the first time.

    The blog is up and running and high-quality articles are getting pushed out with improving regularity.

    Michael gave a brief talk regarding the Antifa handbook and their opinion on the current state of affairs with the Left.

    Actions items to address:
    1. Group to look into assisting Chris’ political aspirations. Chris to draft up a brief action plan/look ahead to enable group to plan how it can assist.
    2. Letters of support to political figures we support and who could do with a bit of encouragement (e.g. Margaret Court)
    3. Paul to ‘feel out’ A.Z. to see how we can support each other.
