I enjoyed it also. It was a good pace, suitable for the smaller group size.
But recall the reason why we started having these more ‘formal’ meetings was because we thought we could be doing something more than just sitting around chatting about random stuff. Paul’s and Chris’ talks were excellent, and things like that are great to educate ourselves on a huge range of subjects. So I think we should have some organised purpose for the meetings. But I certainly don’t see the need for this to take up the full 3 hours. I like how we did it on Saturday: we started off briefly covering some of the formal matters, like the blog, new members etc, then had Chris’ & Paul’s talk, and then just chatted. I think that’s perfect.
As to anonymity, let’s just keep it anonymous for now. We’ve only been doing this for 4 months now, and we don’t yet know how things will pan out.
