    Hey All

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed today’s meeting and think that if we keep having meetings like this every month we’ll grow to as large as we want quite easily. I found it very fluent, informal and informing. If this is how the group goes anonymity is not necessarily required. This is a big step because it would allow us to grow very quickly but also we might ‘go mainstream’ as people have said before. How did you guys (that were there) find it? To casual or just right?

p.s. Paul, great presentation. You are very knowledgeable and maybe Craig and I could have you on our podcast sometime?

p.p.s Chris, your speech was tops and you’ve come very far very quickly now. As one of the few 20 y.o. in a not insignificant political party I think you are ideally placed to launch from here.

I enjoyed it also. It was a good pace, suitable for the smaller group size.
But recall the reason why we started having these more ‘formal’ meetings was because we thought we could be doing something more than just sitting around chatting about random stuff. Paul’s and Chris’ talks were excellent, and things like that are great to educate ourselves on a huge range of subjects. So I think we should have some organised purpose for the meetings. But I certainly don’t see the need for this to take up the full 3 hours. I like how we did it on Saturday: we started off briefly covering some of the formal matters, like the blog, new members etc, then had Chris’ & Paul’s talk, and then just chatted. I think that’s perfect.

As to anonymity, let’s just keep it anonymous for now. We’ve only been doing this for 4 months now, and we don’t yet know how things will pan out.
